The widow used to visit her husband at the cemetery, but before leaving, she did something very strange: One day, someone decided to ask her the reason

Every week, the young widow visited the cemetery to pay her respects at her late husband’s grave. She carefully arranged the flowers, wiped the marble headstone clean, and spent a few minutes in silent reflection. In those moments, time seemed to stand still for her.

A man, a frequent visitor to the cemetery who tended to his own relatives’ graves, had been observing her for a while. What caught his attention wasn’t just her devotion to her husband but also one peculiar detail: as she left, she never, not even once, looked back.

One day, he couldn’t hold back any longer, and as the widow finished her usual rituals and walked toward the exit, he decided to speak to her.

— Pardon my curiosity, madam, — he began cautiously. — I couldn’t help but notice how respectfully you care for your husband’s grave. It’s truly touching… But there’s something that puzzles me: you never look back when you leave. Why?

The woman raised an eyebrow slightly, smiled faintly, and looked him straight in the eye.

— Oh, sir… You see, my husband always joked that my backside was so beautiful and sexy that it could bring the dead back to life…

She paused dramatically before adding with a mischievous grin:

— I just don’t want to take the risk.

The man froze for a moment, processing what he had just heard, and then burst into laughter. The widow playfully winked at him and, staying true to her habit, gracefully walked away, leaving him in bewilderment.
