I never thought I’d be in this situation at 32, watching my world fall apart in the quiet chaos of our bedroom. Let me back up a bit. My husband, Jason, 34, and I had been married for four years, weaving dreams and building a life together.
One of our goals in life was to become parents, and we had been trying to have a baby, unfortunately without any luck. Two weeks ago, she surprised me by saying, “Honey, I’ve booked you four days at a spa!”
He explained to me that it was so I could “relieve stress.”

“What? Seriously, baby?” I asked as I nodded and threw myself into his arms for a warm, grateful hug. “It might help with your fertility issues to have some time off.”
For the first few days, I was thrilled and at peace! I enjoyed all the benefits the resort had to offer. My man had spared no expense in getting me the full treatment. But, very soon I began to miss him terribly and thought:
“Why not come home early and surprise him for a change?”

That decision turned out to be the worst one I ever made! My life fell apart that day when I came home early. As soon as I entered the house, my heart skipped a beat! I was greeted not by his loving hug, but by something that I will never be able to erase from my memory.
I found our living room in shambles. Remnants of romantic dinners and women’s clothing everywhere! The unmistakable sounds of betrayal coming from our bedroom confirmed the worst-case scenario.

As I stood frozen, my heart hammered in my chest. Then I heard muffled laughter and whispers filtering through the door. My first instinct was to burst in and confront them. Instead, I pressed my ear against the door.
“Are you sure he won’t be back today?” her voice floated out, airy and unfamiliar.
Jason responded with a chuckle. “He’s out until Friday, we’ve got all the time in the world, babe!”

I was devastated. But there was no way I was going to lose my temper and give Jason and his lover the satisfaction of watching me fall apart. Anger surged through me, but I held on to a shred of calm.
No, I needed a real revenge plan, not a show. So, silently, I stood on my tiptoes and picked up his clothes scattered around the living room. I gathered up his familiar shirts tangled with her floral dresses.
Her bag caught my eye, filled with keys, a wallet and personal documents. I grabbed it and my plan began to take shape.
As I left the house, I whispered to myself, “Revenge will be mine, but on my terms.”

I dumped her clothes in a dumpster on the other side of town. Her bag, I examined more closely in a cafe, a smirk crossing my face as I saw her ID. “You won’t be needing them anytime soon.” So I turned off the phone and called a friend. I asked to stay the night with her, promising to explain everything when I got there.
“Oh, Milly, I’m so sorry!” Jenny sympathized with me as she hugged me over coffee. “I thought Jason was one of the good guys, especially after he signed you up for the resort.”

It all made me sad and heartbroken, but I was determined to keep a cool head. “Thank you, Jen, with you by my side I’ll be fine.” I also filled her in on the revenge I had taken on me, and my partner was proud of how brave I was.
The next day, chaos unfolded exactly as I expected! When I turned on my phone, there were a lot of messages from Jason. At first he told me that the house had been broken into.
She finally put two and two together when she tried to call the resort and found out I had left the day before.

In his next messages he asked me for explanations while attacking others as if he were the victim of the situation. When I took the clothes of the lover, I realized that she was taller and wider than me.
I later learned from mutual friends that my smaller-sized clothes were ill-fitting and she couldn’t wear them. Desperate, she had called a friend to bring her spare keys to her house. What she didn’t know was that her husband, suspecting her of infidelity, had followed his friend to my house.

The husband saw her leave wearing the clothes her friend had brought her. From across the street and behind a tree, he watched as she kissed Jason goodbye before they hugged. The spouse was smart enough to take photos and record a video as proof of his infidelity.
His confrontation with her later reached my ears as well. “You’ve been lying all along!” he accused her, the pain palpable in his voice. She tried to deny everything until he presented her with undeniable evidence.

The cheating got her prenuptial agreement voided, which cost her a lot of money! According to my sources, it was pretty serious! And she couldn’t be happier with how karma played out in her life.

As for Jason, when he finally confronted me, his face was a mask of confusion and betrayal. “Where did you go? Why did you take his stuff?”
With a calm I didn’t feel, I replied, “You broke our vows, Jason. You’re not allowed to ask questions.”
Her pleas did nothing to convince me. “It was a mistake. Can’t we just forget and move on?”
“No, we can’t,” I said firmly. “Mistakes aren’t planned so you can be alone with your lover.”

I filed for divorce with evidence of his cheating. He had secretly taken medication to keep me from getting pregnant. It hurt me deeply that he made me feel like I was the problem with us not getting pregnant. But all along, infertility had nothing to do with me.
Not only had he lied about his cheating, but he also lied about wanting us to have a child. That broke my heart even more because it was something he knew I was passionate about.
The lover’s husband also contacted me and shared all the images he had to strengthen my case.
