I’m 32 years old, a mother of three, and I pour my heart and soul into our family. But my husband doesn’t seem to appreciate it. He constantly compares me to the wives of our friends, and it’s driving me crazy.
Dylan, my husband, always points out how I don’t cook as well as Alfred’s wife. According to him, Alfred’s kids dress better and perform better in school because of their mom. And recently, he even had the audacity to say that his ex-wife had a better figure than mine!
Now, I’m not perfect, and yes, I’m no gourmet chef. But I barely have time to keep the house tidy, take care of our three kids, help them with homework, do grocery shopping, AND THEN cook!
Remember, you’re doing your best, and comparisons don’t define your worth. Your efforts matter, and you deserve appreciation.
